Stories to step into. Adventures to Remember

Image

Heartgarden began with a simple idea.

What if stories weren't just something children watched, but something they could step into, shape and remember?

What is Heartgarden?

Heartgarden creates immersive, story-led experiences where children take an active role in the world around them.

Each adventure is designed to feel playful, collaborative, and full of discovery, inviting children to explore, solve challenges, and make choices that shape how the story unfolds.

At its heart, Heartgarden is about creating moments that feel meaningful. Not just something to watch, but something to take part in. Something to belong in.

The People Behind the Magic

Image

Heartgarden grew out of something that started back in 2018.

Paul Macklin created Party Quest as a way to bring story-led, interactive adventures to children in their own spaces. It was playful, a little scrappy, and full of ideas that never quite fit into a single format. But at its core was a simple belief that children should not just watch a story, they should be part of it.

When he met Holly Gardner-Hall, that idea found its next step. With a shared love of escape rooms and immersive experiences, the conversation quickly shifted from what Party Quest had been to what it could become. The plan was simple at first: build something that could grow into an escape room.

But as the work developed, so did the vision.

Heartgarden is now that next step. Not just a single experience, but the beginning of a much larger world. A place where each adventure is connected, where choices carry forward, and where children are not just participants, but part of something that continues to grow.

What began as a small idea has become the foundation for something much bigger. And this is only the beginning.
